Our School

Dora Romero Elementary School is located just off FM 803 in the Brownsville city limits.

Dora Romero Elementary was built in 2010 and is the newest elementary school in the district. No additions have been made to the campus.

DRE houses about 580 students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 5 and is a feeder to Los Cuates Middle School. The school mascot is Hurricanes and the principal is Karina Lucio.
