Administration

Holly Maldonado serve the students at Dora Romero Elementary as Principal for the 2024-2025 school year.  She has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2004.  During her career in public education, she has served as an elementary teacher, middle school science teacher, district-level strategist, dean of instruction, and administrator in charge.  Mrs. Maldonado received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Graceland University, her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Texas at Brownsville, and her Certificate in Principal Education from Lamar University.  

Mrs. Maldonado is honored to share her passion in making a difference for others with the students, staff, and families of Dora Romero Elementary.  A world of possibilities exist and together we will reach continued success.

Lucy Aramburo serves the students at Dora Romero Elementary as Assistant Principal. She has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2000. During her career in public education that began in 1997, she has served as a 4th grade teacher, Instructional Officer and Assistant Principal at Dora Romero Elementary since 2017. Hernandez received her Bachelor of Arts degree and Master of Education degree  from University of Texas at Brownsville.

Mrs. Rosemary Martinez serves the students at Dora Romero Elementary as the Instructional Officer for the 2024-2025 school year. Mrs. Rosemary Martinez has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2001. Mrs. Martinez received her Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development from the University of Texas at Austin and her Master of Library Science from Sam Houston State University.
