Mrs. Maldonado serve the students at Dora Romero Elementary as Principal. She has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2004. During her career in public education, she has served as an elementary teacher, middle school science teacher, district-level strategist, dean of instruction, and administrator. Mrs. Maldonado received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Graceland University, her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Texas at Brownsville, and her Certificate in Principal Education from Lamar University.

Mrs. Maldonado is honored to share her passion in making a difference for others with the students, staff, and families of Dora Romero Elementary.

Mrs. Aramburo serves the students at Dora Romero Elementary as Assistant Principal. She has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2000. During her career in public education that began in 1997, she has served as a 4th grade teacher, Instructional Officer and Assistant Principal at Dora Romero Elementary since 2017. Mrs. Aramburo received her Bachelor of Arts degree and Master of Education degree from University of Texas at Brownsville.

Ms. Stephany Montoya serves the students at Dora Romero Elementary as the Instructional Officer. Ms. Montoya has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2024. During their career in public education that began in 2014, Ms. Montoya has served as a high school English Teacher, Lead Teacher, and Secondary Literacy Coach. Ms. Montoya received her Bachelor of English degree and her Master of Educational Leadership in the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley.
