My name is Karina C. Lucio and it is with great excitement that I write to you as the principal of Dora Romero Elementary for the 2022-2023 school year. I am honored and humbled to have the opportunity to serve a community that is known for their dedication to excellence, but more importantly, to children. Over the past 14 years with Los Fresnos CISD, I have served as a paraprofessional, teacher, and administrator. I am excited and eager to continue to bring my skills as an educational leader to Dora Romero Elementary and work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child’s success.

Lucy Aramburo serves the students at Dora Romero Elementary as Assistant Principal. She has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2000. During her career in public education that began in 1997, she has served as a 4th grade teacher, Instructional Officer and Assistant Principal at Dora Romero Elementary since 2017. Hernandez received her Bachelor of Arts degree and Master of Education degree from University of Texas at Brownsville.
Graciela San Roman

Graciela San Roman serves the students at Dora Romero Elementary as Instructional Officer. She has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2010. During her career in public education that began in 2007, she has served as a kindergarten, fourth grade, second grade, and coding lab teacher. San Roman received her Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Science degree from University of Texas-Brownsville. She looks forward to building relationships and memories with the DRE community.
